Under § 23 (1c) of the German road traffic regulations (StVO), anyone driving a vehicle must not operate or carry in a ready-to-use state a technical device intended to show or interfere with traffic enforcement. This includes apps on a phone. OpenBlitzer is meant for passengers and for planning routes. Other countries have their own rules; the app is not offered in Switzerland. The content of this website and the app is not legal advice.

No guarantee for camera data

Fixed cameras come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL); reports come from people using the app. We cannot guarantee that the data is complete, current or correct. Always follow the traffic rules and speed limits that apply.
